We See You: A Little Note for the Moms, Teachers, Families, Friends, and Neighbours Holding It All Together

There is a very specific kind of tired that shows up at the end of the school year.
It is not just “I need a nap” tired.
It is the tired that comes from packing lunches when you are already thinking about dinner. It is permission slips, field trips, teacher gifts, spirit days, deadlines, performances, report cards, last-minute emails, and children suddenly remembering at 9:47 p.m. that they need something for tomorrow.
It is the tired of being the person people count on.
And to every mom, teacher, auntie, caregiver, school staff member, family friend, community helper, and neighbour who has been carrying the invisible list in their head these past few weeks, we just want to say:
We see you.
At The Wellness Studio by Cicco Aroma, we believe care is not only something we sell in a candle, a body butter, or a perfume bottle. Care is something we create together. It is the way we hold space. It is the way we notice when someone has been giving so much of themselves. It is the way community quietly shows up before burnout becomes the only option.
Because sometimes support looks big.
And sometimes support looks like checking in with a teacher who has been pouring into everyone else’s children all year.
Sometimes it looks like asking a mom if she needs help with dinner, or one less thing on her plate.
Sometimes it looks like gifting someone an hour where nobody needs anything from them.
Sometimes it looks like bringing your friend, your sister, your co-worker, your neighbour, or yourself to a table where the only expectation is to breathe, create, laugh, and be cared for too.
That is what we are building here.
Not just a studio.
A place to exhale.
A place where families can come together after the chaos settles. A place where friends can reconnect without needing a big occasion. A place where teachers can be celebrated beyond another mug or thank-you card. A place where neighbours can become community. A place where care feels personal, intentional, and a little softer than the world outside.
As the school year winds down and summer begins, this is your reminder that the people who carry a lot need care too.
So here are a few simple ways we can support each other in this season:
Check on the people who always check on everyone else.
Celebrate the teachers and school staff who helped carry your children through another year.
Invite a friend out, even if they keep saying they are “fine.”
Choose experiences and presence over more things when you can.
Support local spaces that are creating room for families, friendships, creativity, and community to feel alive again.
And when you are ready, we will be here.
For the mom who finally has a quiet evening.
For the teacher who made it to the finish line.
For the family looking for something meaningful to do together.
For the friends who need a reason to reconnect.
For the neighbour who deserves a little more care.
Come pour a candle. Blend a perfume. Make a body butter. Make something with your hands. Laugh a little louder than you planned. Sit at the table. Let the moment last longer than the calendar reminder.
Because around here, we do not just make products.
We make room.
Room for rest.
Room for memory.
Room for community.
Room for you.
And if you need a little more care this season, we are here.
With kindness,
Madonna and Dylan
